Julie is a pianist of 28 years, playing classical (Royal Conservatory), jazz, and popular styles.  She believes that every child deserves the opportunity to learn piano in a fun, stress-free, encouraging learning environment.  Having 2 young children of her own, Julie has a unique inspirational way of interacting with children resulting in confident students who progress rapidly.  Her love for children and music shines through when teaching.

Since having her own children, Julie decided to leave the corporate world and do something she has always wanted to do, teach piano.  She has since taught over 50 private students out of her home studio as well as the local recreation centre music program.  Julie has diversified her piano teaching methods by offering Music for Young Children as well, consisting of small group parent-participation classes ages 3 up who are divided according to age.
